It's not always easy to walk the road less traveled. It gets very hard at times. Everyday before my kids get on the school bus, I ask them, "what church do you belong to"? And it gives me such a warm feeling in my heart to hear them say, "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints!" Casey and I teach them to stand up for what they believe no matter what. We tell them it is ok to be "different".
Things have happened in my life recently that have strengthened my faith and testimony of this Gospel so much. I know he is there, and he is watching over me and my family everyday. I feel so blessed to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints!
I will walk the road less traveled, I will rise when others fall- and I will be the witness of his truth- I will answer when he calls me, with a life that's pure and clean, and will prepare to stand before him, because I believe.

That was beautiful Nikki. After I just got done cleaning up after everyone has gone from the luncheon for Jaida's baptism today, this just added to such a spiritual day. It makes moms so happy when we see our children's testimonies grow no matter how old they get and reading your words and hearing that song just helped my grow even more. I love you, mom
