Okay Silly Bandz are seriously taking over. It is the newest rage this year. Kids of ALL ages are getting into wearing, collecting and trading these gelly bracelets. My kids (actually all the kids) are obsessed with these lately. They come home everyday with a different one that they have traded theirs for.
they're only like $4.99 for a whole pack. I am loving them because I use them for a reward when my kids are good. It has been working too. And if they are naughty I take one away.
They come in all sorts of shapes. These ones are just an example. They have everything from, animals, to sports gear, pirates, shark teeth.. they have everything you can think of. Which is why the kids love to trade them. They are cool because they go on just like a gelly bracelet and when you take it off they turn back into whatever shape it is.

I know the boys love those things. They haven't come to Utah yet as far as I know but they will. Utah is always the last to start a craze.
When we moved back to Utah last summer, my niece Olivia gave Denali a bunch of those. She was telling us how everyone at her school was trading them. So funny. I haven't seen them since then! Definitely a cute little invention! Glad they work well as a reward for you kids. It's always nice when you find something that works! :)
