it can wait..

On Judgement Day,
if God should say,
"Did you clean your house today?"
I will answer,
"I did not,
I played with my children,
and forgot."

Lately I have been feeling so guilty for not spending enough quality time with my kids. Especially Brody. He is our precious middle child, and with Trae in sports all the time and Ryah needing our constant attention, poor Brody may feel neglected at times :( I have made a special promise to myself to let the house and other things go for just a bit so I can spend more one on one time with him and all my kids everyday. They grow up so darn fast, and I don't want to look back with regrets that I didn't spend enough "quality" time with them.

dirty dishes in the sink...

laundry to be folded...

our time spent together...

PRICELESS ;)

SO true it is easy to get busy with all the day to day things and forget our most precious things. Looks like you guys had fun.

I LOVE THIS POST and I completely agree! I have done a post like this before and really, it is what is most important. I always like my home to be perfectly clean... but really, what is most important is the time we spend with our little ones because just like you said, we only get this time once and we don't want to look back with regret! He looks sooo happy! He is sure handsome Nicole!
I am glad you guys are spending some quality time together!!

So true!! I forget that sometimes! I am so OCD about cleaning my home that your right its not about how clean your home is but how we spend it!! Great thought!
